IPS-252: Twisted Rope Glass

Twisted from texturized fiberglass rovings, Style 252 substitutes for the dry (and thus friable) asbestos gasket jointing commonly used to seal flue gases in boiler doors aand furnace flue joints, and for use in blowoff pipes. Since it is of twisted construction, each size may be “fine tuned” by removing roving plies to achieve a proper fit. IPS-252 may be used to seal combustion and other hot gasses up to 1000°F (540°C).

Sizes: 1/4″ by 1/8″ increments to 1 “, and by 1/4″ increments to 11/2″ to 2”. Product is supplied in dispenser cartons of approximately 25 pounds (12 kg) each.
